Ms. A's Story

I'm Ms. A and I'm 45 years old. Currently I am in Niagara County Jail and addicted to crack cocaine. I once was a wife, mother of the year, owned a preschool, daisy troop leader, softball coach, PTA president, a highly respected employee, and friend until I met Crack Cocaine.  Crack and men then became my  new Gods, goals, and focus. I have had periods of not using but always went back to serve the devil with crack and prostitution. I've lived in bad relationships, have been hungry, homeless, ridiculed, and painfully shameful and lonely and still could not stop. Today I am behind bars in the county jail and I still have shame and remorse however, I have a God who loves me, forgives me, and has a plan so big I can't imagine and want to be part of today. I know where I've been and want to one day help others to not go there. I want to serve Jesus and I pray to never serve the devil or priostitute myself for drugs again. I know it's going to be a fight but one I will never have to fight alone. I have God, my friends, and others who love  and want to care and serve the Lord.
